Changes to syllabus

Dear Class,

The syllabus incorrectly lists your Diana Hacker book title as A Pocket Style Guide.  The book you need is A Writer's Reference, 6th ed. ISBN# 0-312-59332-5 (The ISBN# is listed correctly on the syllabus).

Also, next class is incorrectly dated "Aug. 36"--It should be "Aug. 26."

I apologize for any confusion,

Ms. McCarthy

P.S. I have changed the syllabus on the website to reflect these corrections.

Dear Class,

Welcome to ENG 101_002: American Letters! This website will be a resource for you to find readings, other resources, links to archives, and more! Hopefully we can use this space to learn more about each other and our world.

Looking forward to a productive semester,

Ms. McCarthy
